School administrators are challenged to think about the most critical issues in today’s education - closing the opportunity gap. This session provides an introduction to Universal Design for Learning and Personalized Learning in a Learning Studio Model for administrators who are interested in seeking innovative strategies to create transformational changes that will impact student achievement. Specifically within a Learning Studio, the aim is to give school administrators fundamental concepts and understanding of student agency. The session goes beyond that to offer instructional strategies and skills that are valuable in a 21st century educational setting that administrators can take back to their teaching staff.
